About Me
Mr.C.Vivek Kumar, Assistant Professor in Department of Civil Engineering joined at Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology in December 2016. He has graduated from Masters in Structural Engineering in Karpagam University, Coimbatore in the year 2013.His research interests in Civil engineering are Self Curing Concrete , Self Compacting Concrete and Fibre Reinforced concrete. in the year of 2014. He did internship in area of “Surveying and Map generation of Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Polytechnic College , Coimbatore, Tamilnadu”.
He familiar in many software like, STAAD.Pro, Archicad, Auto-CAD, Q-CAD.etc., He has been certified with Plumbing System Design by International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical officials (IAPMO, India) in the year 2014.His post-graduation work carried out in “Experimental Investigation on Self Compacting Concrete with partial replacement of Cement with Flyash.
He has attended Short Term Course in "Analysis and design of structures with application to ship and offshore structures" conducted by Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Madras and Faculty Development Programme on Solid Mechanics conducted by Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore.
He has successfully completed 2 Faculty development Programs during the academic year 2019-2020. He has successfully completed 22 COURSERA courses during the academic year 2019-2020. He has attended several courses like NPTEL online course of Advanced Concrete Technology, Successfully completed FDP (Faculty Development Programme) FDP101x and FDP102x conducted by IIIT BOMBAY in 2018 and also presented several papers in the international and national conferences across the country.
He has published Six Scopus Indexed Journals, three International Journals, six International papers and four national papers. He has been represented as Organizing Coordinator of various seminars and symposium held inside the college.
